Equipment for heating water in the pool

The comfortable temperature of the water in the pool allows you to enjoy swimming, despite the season. To implement this is quite simple - you just need to install equipment for heating water:

  • heat pumps;
  • heat exchangers;
  • electric heater.

GoodPool offers equipment for heating water in a pool with a volume of 10 to 500 m³. Most models only heat water, but there are some that can both heat and cool. It is possible to control these devices remotely - using a special remote control or smartphone. Warranty period from 1 year

Pool heat pumps

Water is heated due to heat exchange between the environment and water. The equipment consists of 3 closed circuits. In the 1st circuit, the heat pump collects heat and transfers it to the 2nd circuit. There, the pressure of freon decreases and it passes into a gaseous form. Next, the gas enters the compressor, where it is compressed and heated, and then it enters the 3rd circuit - the condenser. Here the system gives the received heat to the pool water, and then the process is repeated.

The heat pump must have sufficient power, the value of which is influenced by several factors:

  • water temperature before heating;
  • how quickly the pool loses heat, and this depends on its location (outdoors or indoors) and the temperature difference between water and air;
  • the presence or absence of a protective cover such as a pavilion for the pool.

The GoodPool catalog contains only certified pool heat pumps with a quality guarantee. The software allows you to control the operation of the pump from your smartphone.

Pool heat exchangers

This equipment is usually connected to an existing heating system using adapters and couplings. Another option is to connect to a separate boiler for heating. The principle of operation of the heat exchanger is quite simple: after cleaning, water enters its flask, where it interacts with a warm coil and returns to the pool.

Advantages of the heat exchanger:

  • effectively heats water at insignificant expenses of energy;
  • has a reasonable price;
  • long service life;
  • small size;
  • easy to connect.

Heat exchangers for the pool differ in reliable work. Usually they are made of strong materials: anti-corrosion steel, titanium or materials of similar characteristics. The heat exchanger can have a horizontal or vertical connection. The speed at which the heat exchanger heats the water depends on the power and temperature of the coolant. High efficiency can be obtained at a water temperature in the coil at the level of 70–80 °C. The movement of the coolant is due to the pump, the power of which also affects the efficiency of the radiator. The more powerful the heat exchanger, the higher its cost. The presence of additional functions is also reflected in the price of the equipment.

By ordering a heat exchanger on the GoodPool website, you will solve the issue of heating water in a private or commercial pool for many years.

Electric pool heaters

The electric heater consists of a flow chamber and tubular electric heaters inside. Such devices are most popular because they quickly heat large volumes of water. The body is made of materials that can withstand high temperatures, water pressure and exposure to chemicals. It can be thermoplastic, titanium or stainless steel.

For heating elements, titanium alloy is most often taken. The water heating process is controlled and the desired temperature is set using a control unit or a thermostat. In case of overloads, in particular overheating, the automatic protection system is activated and the electric heater is switched off.

When choosing such equipment, consider that its power corresponds to the volume of the pool. On average, 1 kW is enough to heat 1 m³ of water. If you buy a weaker device, it will not cope, and you will not get the desired result. Choosing an electric heater with a significant margin is also not worth it - this will increase the cost of electricity.

The following information will help you decide on the right model: to heat 1 m³ of water by 1° C, you will need about 1 kW/h. energy. The cost of an electric heater depends on its power and additional functions.
